Santa Mariña ruins, historic area

They are located in the high part and were declared a historical-artistic place in 1943. They constitute one of the most pintoresque examples of the gothic art in Galicia.

The construction of the temple dates back XVI century, being abandoned in the XIX after a fire. The cemetery, in its old part, is composed of an endless group of tombs where there is no room to walk.

Nowadays it has a unique celebration of the mass a year, the day of the dead.
